Can someone recommend me DVD authoring software?

Most of the cheaper programs do what they say on the tin but if you have strong ideas of what you want, they turn out to be pretty crap (most of them for example let you feed in an MPEG-2 file and choose from five different backgrounds to automatically make a Scene Selection menu with). So no originality in there.

The exception to that is DVDLab and although it doesn't seem as well-featured as the progessional stuff (that I think costs about $500 or so), it doesn't hold your hand through the whole process and treat you like a 5-year old. TMPGenc DVD Author is a good one to use, if I ever need to author a DVD Ill use that.
