Jap PS2&HD Advance(Loader)Info Needed

Hi,
I'am not a big fan of PS2 chipping but the idea of HDloader as been kind of tempting for me for quite a while now.
Just came across this new variation of the HD Loader software called Advance(well new to me) up for auction at the mo on Ebay.The seller claims that you don't need a chipped machine to use this program and that it even works on NTSC machines.
Has anyone here come across this specific product before,be interested to know what people thought of it,both good and bad points?
To get this to work on my unchipped Jap PS2 no chipping or disc swapping is required?

You don't need a chipped PS2 to use it, but i think you can still only use original software and the region software of the hardware.

Hi fella,
thanks for the reply.Sounds in theory like it would suit my purposes totally as I only really play Jap NTSC games and have no interest al all in dodgy backups ect.
Anyone have an idea about the reliability of this piece of softwate?

from what I've read it doesn't work with a fair few games, but is probably worth it for the ones it does work with, damn the ps2 and its loading times
