Nintendo DS or XBox?

So my 18th is coming up, and that means a present I can choose and lots of nice B day money.

So, I have a choice, should I import a DS with a game or get a pal xbox, with Outrun 2?

Keep in mind that Halo 2 is also coming out next month...

Depends if you have any other consoles?
Do you have any TV consloes at home or any other handhelds?
If you have other handhelds, do they get much use?
Do you travel much (to college etc)
Just ask yourself these questions and weigh-up the pro/cons.
At the end of the day which console has the games you most want and where does most of your gaming take place, home or outside?

well the xboxes are as cheap as they are gonna get, and there are loads of games out and coming out.
The DS is ony about to be released so is only gonna have a few games

Get an xbox and a ds in the future....

in my expereince, home consoles keep me going for hours on end.

handhelds get me bored quickly.

id take the xbox.

I would get the XBOX first, and save up for DS.

xbox without a doubt, its got plenty going for it.. get a DS at a later date when its established and there are plenty of top notch titles available

buy the xb, steal the DS as some point in the future from the shop of your choice. Theyre infinitely more pocketable

Xbox all the way. Some quality games coming out and a good back catalogue to choose from as well. At the current price, its too good not to.

Get a DS if you still want one when the prices inevitably drop.

Not wise. Darkangel seems to have some difficulty in remembering which pocket he leaves items.
