Quicky PDF question

Hello men,
Can anyone help me with somthing, i work in a school and have to create a new word template out of an existing fax header which is stored as a pdf.

How can i do this?
How can i convert it to word, or how can i copy and paste the images from the pdf so i can fit it in a word doccument.
I have at my disposal
MS Office
Acrobat reader
Adobe Illustrator
Fireworks
and
Open office

I'm no expert, prehaps Google will tell all, but you can save the PDF as a Text Document in Acrobat and then place that in the Word Templates Folder ?

If you just want the images from the pdf, then take a screenshot of it (alt-printscreen), then use fireworks to create a new image and paste the screenshot in.

You can then crop it to take out the appropriate bits, export them as graphics, and insert them into word.

Can't personally recommend any but thought of these?

If you had adobe acrobat (full)
Open the pdf.
Do file / save as / word document.

But you don't so..

Extract any graphics using reader or illustrator.
Then recreate the header manually in word.

CHEERS guys, after much arsing about i opened it in illustrator, saved it as an Illustrator file, sliced it in Fireworks, compiled the template as images in openoffice (tonnes better than MSWord) then converted the template to an MSWord doc.

What a waste of a day that was, just for a sodding letterhead.

Man i need a new job.............
