After finally figuring out how to record the video from PS2 using a composite converter, and actually getting a decent job out of using DivX codecs for compression, it's time for me to move onto Audio. Problem being that no matter what I set the Line In volume to, the sound is INCREDIBLY loud.
I even have the line in recording volume set completely down, and it still ends up completely crackling and loud, despite the fact that through my speakers when it's not recording, it's perfectly fine.
I'm using WinTV to record completely uncompressed, PCM, 22050, 8 bit, Mono, before using Dr. DivX to compress the video, and audio aswell i'm assuming. Any idea on how to fix this?
