Jpn DC games with DCX and VGA box

Hi I have a couple of games that I cannot get to run on my VGA box using DCX. They all have VGA compatable on the disc and were bought in Japan but are played on a pal DC. When I try to play them I get no picture and the monitor says the frequency is out of range (too low I think).

The games are Power Stone 2, Sega Bass fishing and House of the Dead 2.

Has anyone had any success?

Boot it on your TV first. Remember which buttons you need to press.

Now do it blind on the VGA. Should work.

Thats the problem. These games boot fine on the TV. I dont need to press anything. When I try to play them on my dc-x disc + vga box using the monitor for some reason they boot up into a horizontal frequency of 60.1Hz and a verticle frequency of 15.7Hz. The verticle frequency is half of what it should be as the games that do work have a verticle frequncy 30.4Hz. This is really odd.
