    Monitor Definition Files Windows

Hey, I'm trying to work out how to make a monitor definition file, or whatever win32 calls them, for a monitor I have that doesn't exist anywhere... its a silicon graphics workstation monitor and it can do multisync, anyone know how or if there is a program to generate your own file?

I'm guessing here but I think you can set up monitors using inf files. The exact mechanics behind it I'm not sure of though.

Have you tried loading the driver for the sony W-900 or something like that?
This was used by SGI as one of there panels and was a mutisync widescreen, the driver just added a few 16:9 ratios, worth a go.

What is the monitor name? A C220?

powerstrip should let you set up any resolution/aspect ratio/refresh rate/sync mode you can think of pretty much, give that a shot.

I did some serious digging and found a proper driver for it, its called one thing but the driver is something else. Lucky me.
