    PS2 Network Adaptor Help Please

    I've set it up manually (no joy at all with the NTL default settings) seems fine but then when trying to connect, the test gets to the "2nd Ball" then I get the error message "DNS resolve failed, no response from Server (2)"

    Both DNS address I've put in are correct and I've even tried putting DNS address 1 in twice, but still same error message, I'm probably missing something obvious, please save my Network Adaptor from going out of the window.

    Thanks

    decided to give this another go earlier, progressed a bit;

    Using the Automatic NTL setup no problems, sets up OK, run the Diagnostics and again all OK but when trying to connect to Central Station I get as far as Authenticating DNAS Data, then after about 60 seconds;

    "Central Station cannot be contacted, Please check your settings and try to connect again"

    Is it just timing out or is there a problem ?

    Ping info: min. 19.84 / max. 40.19 / avg. 24.36

    Cheers

      If you're still having problems and don't know why it may be the DNAS stopping you going online. Is your machine chipped? If so and the chip is on, then I reckon that's why you can't connect.

      Here's a thread which explains it, I think.

      Only reason I found this info is because I'm currently doing a search to see if a UK Network Adaptor will work fine on an unchipped US machine for US games.
