Saturn - PAL games on Jpn machine?

Is it possible without modifying? I have an Action Replay 4 in 1 jobbie, & was wondering whether my PAL Guardian Heroes would work on a Jpn Saturn?

You can get a white or grey one from ebay for about ?60 including shipping if you buy from Japan, quite a bit more if you chose to buy in the UK.
