Progressive Scan Xbox Games - 720p and 1080i? (Halo 2?)

    Hello lads.

Got my HDTV today, and fook me. It's amazing! I **** you not, it's absolutely breathtaking.

I just rented out Soul Calibur 2, and in 720p it's just like.

What other games are there that support 720p that are worth checking out? Or even 1080i?

Anyone know if Halo 2 will support either??

I need some more games to try now. I swear Neil said SSX was 720p, when I saw it running on his Plasma. Anyone know?

    Soooo please with the picture!

      Tis a lovely feeling
I've yet to see anything higher than 576p and I'm already really pleased.

Halo2 is apparently going to be widescreen and 480P compatible.

Hands down best looking games on Xbox in HD though are MX Unleashed (1080i) and Steel Battalion: Line of Contact (720P)...

I hear the new Xmen Legends game is 720P as well.

Others off the top of my head:

          Freedom Fighters (720P)
          Tony Hawks Underground (720P)
          Tony Hawks Underground2 (720P)
          Enter the Matrix (1080i)

Also check out Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden in 480P... very nice.

The hdtv standards are 480p, 720p and 1080i, part of that standard is that they will be in 16:9 so all games that are progressive will be in the 16:9 ratio.
This is proved by the fact that Soul Calibur II forces your display into widscreen with a 4:3 image inside it.

480p although included in the HD standard is actually called EDTV.

no ssx is not 720p, LoC is. Few games support progressive. Hit both triggers and press both sticks on xbox to put the dashboard into progscan mode.

I wish more games either went fully widescreen or at least put borders up because I really really can't stand stretching the image.

Not trying to be funny but almost all games support progressive scan 480p (PAL and NTSC) with only a handful that don't.

Unless you meant 720p and 1080i which are listed here.
