Is there a adaptor to use Xbox pad on a PS2 ?

Gamesx do mainly hardware mods, you'd need to program a little to make an adaptor for the Xbox pad, unless you use the cheapo PS2 Pad PCB in a box solution (which sucks btw).

what i meant was removing a ps2 controller chip and wiring it up inside an xbox pad which is a bit too permanent.

mind you, it would 'just' be a case of wiring the xbox's buttons and sticks to the ps2's chip and then that would work, as long as the buttons and sticks send the same kinds of voltages as ps2 buttons/sticks do

btw what sucks about a box solution? other than obviously not being able to easily wire up the analogue sticks/triggers to the box, this is the better way to go, but requires gutting the xbox pad's circuitry

No. No adaptors to use any other pads on a PS2, either. For some moronic reason, pad converter companies are under the impression that the PS2 pad is God's Gift, and people only want to use them on different boxes, never the other way round.

I'd love to use my GC Soul Calibur II and DC Sticks on the PS2, but no.
