    Psyvariar 2: Extend Edition

Didn't know this was coming out on the xbox it's not out on the ps2 yet is it?

I wonder if it's region free, and the best news of all it has high scores tables on xbox live.

So has anyone got this on order? I hate this time of year now there is just toooo many good games coming out.

Live highscores on Psyvariar 2? Oh bugger. Guess I'm getting this, then, if there's any sign of a PAL release date (haha).

I've got mine on order - this is why I bought the machine! You can download/upload replay data aswell. David man - get yourself a stick and learn how to play the game - you dont need a separate button to spin the craft, it'll **** up the score tables and mission mode completely. You already have movement assits in Psyvariar 2 to get used to! (curves and orbits) assigning roll to a separate button will negate them aswell.

I hope it is region free so I can play over Live...I also plan on buying a DC arcade stick and magic box. I thought the game was pretty darned hot at the meet last week, I just have to own it!

Heavy man - one question tho about Xbrick Live: My machine is set to Japan region so I can run this game with my modchip switched off, can I access the Live side of it OK here? I havent used it before and was wondering if the Xbrick Live kits had a region applied?

first batches of the Live kit were regionless (US or EU). later ones are region encoded.

You could enable live with a EU Live kit on a UK machine set to UK region with the mod chip turned off, then change the region to jpn and the video format to ntsc with the mod chip enabled.

This may not work though; MS could detect the eeprom changes after the Live account has been created. I know that at the moment people changing the video format to ntsc aren't getting booted, so you might be alright.

People are able to run US Xboxs with US Live kits from the UK, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks a lot for that man!

I cant wait to start on this! Getting replays off people is gonna be so dark and will hopefully encourage people to learn the game more for the competition.

Oh god. Is there any chance of a PAL release? I don't want to chip my box. I'd have to buy another box just to play this ffs.

Is it just the disc that is region encoded now, or the license code, too? Because I'm quite happy to post Saur my spare DVD from when I signed up over a year ago, and let him use his own code.

As the first Live kits were region free, you'd think it was only the disk that was region encoded. Nothing to stop MS changing this though.

No biggie - I got a second disc when I renewed a few months back, so its not like I even need it. PM me your address, and I'll post it at the weekend.
