PSP Advice

Where is the best place to preorder a PSP from, how much is this likely to set me back and what's the likelyhood of getting it before Christmas?
Anybody in Japan want to get me one and post it back here if I deposit monies in to their account?

Play-asia is the best place,they will get it to you very quickly through tnt and before christmas but you'll have to pre-order one for that to happen i reckon.

It will set you back depending on what you want,the normal pack or the 32mb memory version,also on how many games you want,and don't forget the tax and import duty you'll pay with a courier.

IMO it isn't worth getting one yet as they aren't region free to my knowledge,you'd be better off with a DS ,they're cheaper and region free.

Ya forgot about that,you're bound to see some in anotherworld or forbiddenplanet as the shop is called ,or skill2k but the price will be around ?200-250 i reckon

Yes, but I don't really want to buy 1 at such an inflated price. Gone are the days when I'd buy a console for ?300+
Not really that interested in the DS at the mo, for some reason, every console released by Nintendo dilutes my enthusiasm for them. (I have/had most Nintendo consoles imported). I must be the only person not to have a ps2, this is why I'm a little more interested in the psp.

I don't have a ps2 either but i have a playstation so no need for a psp

Play-asia via TNT courier would be your best bet,you can track it the whole way as well.

You can get the value pack and a game for ?190 shipped from Play Asia. The games have been confirmed as region free, although nothing yet on the other features. Shouldn't be a problem getting it before Christmas assuming you get the order in quick enough.

According to Lik-Sang Sony have now confirmed that it WILL be region free. (for games anyway)
