Cheapest Import Nintendo DS?

However when a thread is about the cheapest DS people will choose one company over another just to save a few pounds so quoting the wrong price might / will mislead people.

I didnt want to correct you and put the facts down in black and white but it had to be done when what you were saying was wrong and correcting someone else.

was actually trying to point out that the difference in price wasnt 35percent as stated

there is a company within amazon.com that want ?150 for the DS - which is pretty huge

vgi want ?170 minus shipping for the ds

I've never used them myself, but I've heard a lot of bad things about ImportMadness on various messageboards.

I have my DS on pre-order with VG+, as they've always been good to me in the past (fast deliveries and parcels marked down without being asked).

I would entirely recommend against using ImportMadness. They seem to have had a lot of complaints on the cube-europe.com forums.

Id trust VG+ with my grandmother so they get my order even if they are a little more expensive. Cheapest isnt always best in this case.

There's a guy on Rllmuk who is doing them for ?95 plus ?20 2-4 day courier, and the games are ?20 apeice so I'll probably get mine from him. Plus they'll be marked down well (apparently he's gotten xboxs/ps2s through customs without charges before)

Yep, that's the guy, it's a damn good price imo, seeing as the chance of customs is virtually nil! I'm just waiting on my student loan before I can get one

However it's actually ?110.60! I also wish you luck with customs despite them marking it down, as DHL courier it the whole way, and would also inspect it.

If anyone's interested I am selling DS preorders for ?94.99 at RLLMUK (though it's down atm) and though most are sold, some are left. (Postage would be ?19.99 for usps global express 3 day, and you're pretty much guaranteed to have no tax).

By my own admission i'm not good at maths but ?94.99 + ?19.99 is ?114.98 so VG+ can do it cheaper than a dude on forums?

Iv had stuff from VG+ before and marked down with no problem thus I am going with them again. If however you were cheaper than VG+ then i might reconsider.

That's fine-but preordering from them now you can't possibly get a launch day DS, and although it's easy to get away with games marked down..it's a different story with international couriers, especially DHL.

It should be noted that the AC Adapter for the Nintendo DS is identical to the Game Boy Advance SP, and either adapter can be interchanged between the two systems.

While we all I'm sure wish you the best with your venture, its perhaps not sensible to come out with remarks like that about another business - in fairness we dont know how many units VG+ have secured, but theres no point in saying that it wont guarantee you a launch DS, as thats a bit low tbh..
