Gamecube 'beat em ups' and Saturn SF Zero 3

So i just picked me up a nice spice cube with the gba player. However i am looking for a decent beat em up, besides Soul CaliburII, what else is there? I am mainly looking for a decent 2D beat em up. Yes, i realise the cubes pad is crap but how does SFzero 3 or Super Street fighter 2 X hold up on the player? Worth checking out?

On a seperate note, how does Zero 3 for the saturn hold up against the Dreamcast version? Are the loading times and the sprites exact or is the DCs version superior?

    Thanks for your time guys.

Capcom V SNK 2 is out on the GC, i've got it and it's as good a version as any. You may want to try out the Naruto games. Naruto 3 is out soon so you could either wait for that or get Naruto 2 slightly cheaper now on Play-asia.

I've played both SF2 and SFA3 on the GB Player and they're quite good. Not really suited to the big screen graphically but they play fine. Personally i prefer SF2 because of the tap/hold controls with SFA3 makes you press both punches together for a Hard Punch.

Yes, EO can be turned off in both the GC and Xbox versions.

i've got sf zero 3 on both saturn and dc

due to the whole capcom programming trickery with 4mb ram carts, loading times are minimal, almost as quick as the dc version, but the dc version is practically as fast as the arcade one anyway.

speech seems a bit worse than the dc version, although sprites appear just as good (obviously a few frames may be cut, but i can't really notice).

to be honest, i find the real deciding issue is the dc pad vs the saturn pad (in my case, i dont have a dc stick). in that case i like the saturn version better, but i still like playing it on dc as i kinda like sf on the dc pad. dunno why!

i think the saturn one slows down in places too, but then, so does the arcade version (just try doing ken's super on the rainy vega/m-bison stage)

I would go for the Saturn version of SFZ3 over the DC version.

                  1) its rgb, where as it isnt on the DC.
                  2) The sprites are the right size and not screwey like on the DC version.

The DC Matching Service version is RGB or you could just get the PAL version (runs in 60hz).

The Saturn one in all honesty is the best version though.

Loading times on the Saturn are mildly annoying but the collision and sprites are better.

The sound the on the Saturn version is a bit **** too, as mentioned. (as is the sound on most saturn games)

If by 'exact' you mean which one is closer to the arcade then most people will say the Saturn version.
