PSTwo mod in glasgow?

Could someone please pm me details of places in glasgow that will either supply & fit a mod chip or just install a supplied one in the glasgow area? Im looking at a DMS4 so these arent illegal from what ive read.

These have just came out this week so there might not be many about, altough I'm not sure about the legality of them. No sites in the UK seem to be offering them.

Barras is your best bet mate.

Also, do you realise you can mod it yourself easily and just buy a swap magic disc to boot games?

the dms4 is legal i think since it doesnt actually boot backups with the bios it comes with. ive found a supplier for the chip but need somewhere to actually fit it for me. id give it a go myself but ive never done any soldering so i dont really want to mess it up.
i would go to the barras but the place is only open weekends (is it?) and i work almost every weekend so it would be a while before i could get in

Where did you get the chip? If I can get one I'll give it a go (I'll use my machine as a guinea pig)

I need a PStwo to whack in the car and ideally would like it modded. Don't mind doing it myself if no one is offering the service yet.

There are currently major issues with chipping a PStwo - IMO you'd be best to leave it for a while.

Seems there are some problems with the PStwo anyway, don't fancy installing it and having to take it out, cheers Yoda, probably just saved me a big headache.

Basically an awful lot of these PStwos seem to be smoking the laser coils and the driver chip shortly after being chipped (within a day or two). Even some unmodded machines are dying.
