Deleting Stubborn Desktop Icons

Running XP

There are 2 icons that I can't delete. Recycle Bin and My P900 - phone app

When I right click there is no delete option and when I highlight and hit delete nothing happens.

I've moved them to he quick launch and want a clean desktop

Download TweakUI from the Microsoft website and that'll have an option to remove all desktop icons.

I would uninstall your P900 phone apps and reinstall it without having a desktop icon.

Thanks, I've unistalled the p900 (load of crap anyway) and I'll try and get that app to rid the RB
