My daughter has asked for the above but not sure if it's worth buying. Anyone played it?

yeah it's a poor man's crazy taxi, if your daughter is young she will probably enjoy it, for me the repetitive soundbites got too much after about 1 hours play!! -
I enjoyed it a little ( when I say a little I played it through to the final area before losing interest and getting sidetracked by other games )
Its like GTA-lite, with the ability to knock people over put not squish them flat ( they fly up into the air like skittles in a comedy fashion ). Also there's no shooting as far as I can remember.
Its ideal for kids and a definate purchase for a Simpsons fan.
And its funnier than the new episodes ( cos it relys on the gags from the older series).Comment

Simpsons Road Rage is more like Crazy Taxi IMO.
Hit & Run is more akin to GTA with the whole of Springfield opened up for the player as a 'toybox'. Hit & Run is the superior game and you daughter will love it.Comment

I really liked Simpsons Hit 'n' Run, and its one of the few games I've completed this year. Mind you, that's partly because its not hugely difficult; the missions aren't as infuriating as GTA's.
Mind you, I'm a Simpsons fan, so replacing all the swearing, drug references and overt violence with in-jokes is fine by me.Comment
