Anyone using an AE700 with an *import* xbox?

    Anyone using an AE700 with an *import* xbox?

    I have my PAL chipped xbox hooked up to an AE700 and when outputting 525p it displays ugly bands of colour, which are absent in every other mode (525i, 720p). This problem has been reported on avforums, so it seems to be common to chipped PAL xboxes at least.

    If possible I'd like to know if the same thing happens on unmodified boxes outputting prog scan.

    well I'm using an import box with a plasma and I don't get any issue like this.

      Think it's specific to the PJ mate, opinion seems to be the clock phase is out but the menu option to adjust clock phase only appears with 720p and 1080p inputs.

      Interested to know if it's due to the PAL machine or not, I will probably connect via VGA to see if that gets around it.
