Halo 2. PAL or US LE

Evening all.
I preordered the Halo 2 LE off of VG+,and then the PAL LE was announced so i cancelled the US order and ordered from Amazon.co.uk (which has yet to show up).
However when i got home tonight the VG+ order had arrived. So,which one do i keep. Turns out the US one is region free as ive been playing it on my unmodded PAL X-Box,but is there any benefit in having an NTSC copy,framerate wise etc...

read somewhere yesterday it was region free but didn't believe it tbh, you'll have to try both and see what you prefer. Wondered when the first copy for sale would appear here

Check out the PAL one on 50hz first, the first Halo ran better in 50hz so if Halo 2 does too then I'd keep the PAL one for the better resolution.

on a side note, there seems to be plenty of LE versions going about as a GAME store here had 45 pre-orders and recieved 150 LE's

that was me who posted it. I have the us copy already and it works on my PAL unmodded X-Box.
Just waiting for the PAL version now.
