Hotmail account jumped up to 250Mb?

This is odd, but my hotmail account has suddenly (as in sometime in the last 24 hours) jumped up from having 2Mb of storage to a whopping 250Mb. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hotmail sent me an email early October saying they were going to do this. Text below:

"Changes to your MSN? Hotmail? account

As you probably know, your MSN Hotmail account is changing for the better.

From this autumn, all free Hotmail accounts will have a 250MB inbox, as well as the ability to send and receive attachments of up to 10MB. With MSN Calendar, you'll also be able to manage your time more efficiently by sharing your calendar with others. You'll also get twice the amount of spam protection with the ability to block up to 500 specific e-mail addresses or entire domains."

I've had 4 e-mails from them over the past 3 months telling me this upgrade was happening

At least that'll mean that my old Hotmail account will have a greater selection of spam for me to browse through.

Whilst we're kind of on the subject, you can now register your @hotmail.co.uk accounts. Reg them nice and early to avoid [email protected] type scenarios

Go to Hotmail.co.uk

Put [email protected] in username box
Put any password in password box, click Sign in, you should get a error

Type your .NET Passport sign-in e-mail address and password correctly.
Remember, passwords are case-sensitive.

Then click on Register with .NET Passport, if you haven't already.
Then you are done

I've snagged a couple of decent ones for myself whilst I can.
