PIN Help needed from someone online with their PS2 please

I'm all set up now, took some doing, then tried via router and connected first time.

Now problem is; I only signed up today and needed my PIN for Monday evening - didn't know you had to wait for it in the post, basically I'm after a kind soul to let me know their central station name & PIN so I can take part in a WRC4 contest on Monday evening (PIN needed and mine won't be here in time unless I can get Sony to email me one on Monday).

Strange request I know, hoping someone here can help me out, I can be trusted - honest guv (check out my feedback)

EDIT: think it should work in theory, sure serial no and model no are just for Sony, have nothing to do with online.

you cant use it right away? i thought you just had i time limit to get the pin entered, so you could still play for a few weeks without it

You can sign up and play straight away but need a PIN for tounies and the like. Pin can take anything between few days and 6 weeks to arrive from waht I've rea on various forums. You have to enter your PIN within 6 weeks or your account gets frozen though.

Blooming antiquated, like being back in the 80's why can't they just email it (they want ot verify your address basically)

Didn't you just answer your own question there? They want to verify your address.

Isn't it just a name and password you need, surely a loan of a PIN isn't required as this is only used when registering.

I do just need username and password, PIN "probably" not needed. You offering .... pretty please

My CS password is the same as the password I use for absolutely everything - banks, paypal, ebay etc so I'm not too keen to give it out - but if it can be changed via CS then I'll do that and then I can tell you what it is, and change it back tomorrow.

However I won't be able to look into that until after work - maybe somebody else will offer in the meantime.
