Nintendo DS:will wireless of the US model conflict with UK model?

I planning to import a DS from the US but just to make sure, will the wireless capabilities of the US model conflict with the UK model?

    Cheers

I'd be highly doubtful of any incompatabilites.

They've already said that each regions DS cold be played worldwide, restricting the wireless capabilities would seem a little hypocritical.

The question is whether different region games are compatible.

Arent we expecting that most of the multiplayer games will only require one cart?

So I guess it doesnt matter if games arent compatible with each other...

I remember when Miyamoto handed me my free copy of Zelda on the GBA in London, it was the US version and ended up not working with other regions of the game.

You can nver be sure what Ninty has up their sleeve, it may indeed turn out to work, on the other hand the opposing beam waves may react in such a way as to destroy both systems, thereby forcibly stopping anyone from importing.

Call me a cynic, but it may happen..... possibly.

Personally, I'm expecting this to be pretty limited. Think GBA one-cart multiplayer - fewer options, fewer characters, fewer maps, etc. It was more like a demo version of what you'd get if you each had a copy of the game. I just don't see too many publishers - if any - giving people the full multiplayer experience on one cart. Doesn't make financial sense, especially on those games where multiplayer is the main reason for playing.

I forgot about thet 1 cartridge thing when I wrote that, good point.

I think the problem with GBA games was that the GBA had limited memory to store the game and the transfer rates were shocking compared to what wireless could do.
