Am I the only person still waiting for a copy of Halo 2 to arrive?

I ordered it 2 months ago from www.lxdirect.co.uk (Littlewoods) for the very cheap price of ?21.99. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered, apparently it isn't being dispatched until the 19th Nov! I've had to resort to borrowing and renting it. Remind me never to preorder anything again! (after my psp arrives).

Preordering is always the best way to go but Littlewoods have low prices on games but then never deliver. I remember there was a scam we did a while back with voucher codes to get cheaper games but they sent out the games and charged full price. They will probably just cancel your order or charge you full whack.

?21.99 is too low, trade price over here is above that (probably), use play or gameplay next time mate.

I ordered an LE from Amazon, it was dispatched on the 10th... still no sign of it. Bought it locally last Saturday.

If the Amazon one ever arrives it's going straight back with a letter expressing my disappointment.

I think i used the littlewoods voucher thing to order Mario Kart DD, that arrived after a few days. So it'll probably turn up. Very cheap price btw, i paid ?35 in woolies. For a game of this importance i chose not to preorder. Quite handy as returning it was much easier

Valken, i dont know about Ireland but in the UK internet orders are subject to distance selling regulations. They lost a monitor i ordered from them so i sent an email cancelling the order and got a refund. Fook knows what happened to the monitor.

Well it's from Amazon UK and checking the terms etc nothing says it DOESN'T apply to peeps in Ireland.

I checked their site and if it doesn't arrive within 3 days of the due date you can contact them to get it sorted.

The URL you click on has "refunds" in it so hopefully it'll be painless.

It was due on the 15th at the latest so today's the day.

FWIW Mine arrived today after shipping on the 10th.

Now to decide what to do with two copies of Halo 2...
