The Hori digital pad for the GC

just wanting to know, has anyone used one of these new pads yet, the one which is like the snes one?

im thinking of buying one but i want to make sure that its good quality and all that. is it as responsive as a SNES pad, so its nice and easy to do special moves etc?

The pad is well built and good quality.

I am currently using it with my Gameboy Player, for which it works great, and Ikaruga for which the dpad is considerably better than the dpad on the regular Gamecube controller.

I would recommend it.

I got mine mainly for Soul Calibur 2. Haven't tried it with Ikaruga yet.

Works a treat on Ikaruga, it saw me bumping up my scores almost the day I got it.

The build quality is very good, and as the d pad is larger than the d pad on the standard controller it is very good for beat em ups (i.e. the capcom ones), and for use with the GBA Player.

what the pad like for pulling off moves etc, like in capcom vs SNK and MK 5, is it easy like with the snes pad?
