NTSC Second Sight and Freeloader 1.06B

Any one know if a Canadian Second Sight for Gamecube will work with Freeloader on a PAL machine?

I just bought a cheap combo (Freeloader + Second Sight) from DVDBoxOffice for my nephew for Xmas, about 16 quid all in! And I want to make sure it works without removing the seal.
