    PS2 Online HDD Expert Question

    Hi,

    I have just managed to cancel my online account with Square Enix / Playonline for FFXI. Now I have a spare HDD for the PS2. What I would like to know is...

    1. I would like to sell it on as I can't use it now. But is there stuff on there that someone could use to get my CC info. Is it safe to sell?

    2. how much is the HDD worth?

    3. Anything else you can think of that I should have! (please no silly comments!!!)

    Other than having a bunch of stuff for FFXI, which I'm guessing is going to be 'interesting' to sell on, as whoever buys it will need an account as well, its a standard 3.5" hard drive and PS2 Network Adaptor, isn't it?

    I suspect your best bet will be to hunt down that HDLoader thing, or just sling it in a PC and reformat the drive.

      If you know someone with a Playstation2 Linux kit you can reformat the drive with that.
