Stepdown Options

I was thinking of importing a NTSC Xbox, I have read the FAQ on here and searched some of the sites. On the www.videogameimports.com I was wondering if the 3rd party 300 watt stepdown transformers was any good? Any help would be much appreciated..

you looked on maplin.co.uk ? anything 150W and above will do the Xbrick, think they're all much the same tbh never had one blow up on me. Some weigh a ton so postage might be expensive.

Yeah thanks for the site, though on maplins the only one that is close to what the Xbox needs is the 100w one. I can't find any others above that.

Even though its only 100w, we've been using it for months without a problem, one of the guys left it running overnight for 14 hours and it didn't blow up!

I managed to buy for ?9.99 at the goodge street Maplins, wasn't sure if it was price cock up, but I didn't complain.

You need a strong and quality one for XBOX as it need lot of power
