Mario DS language.

Probably a stupid question but are the carts multilanguage(like ngpc etc) or is the japanese one all japanese?

the JPN one is in stock at PA so if it is english ill pick that one up. (im hopeing but doubtfull)

I was wondering if anyone has actually tried running a US Mario on a machine set to Japanese language.

Maybe it'll be like the Megadrive and both languages will be stored on the cartridge and it depends on what language the DS itself is set to.

Don't think i've heard of anyone trying that yet, so its got to be worth investigating.

well, as far as I can tell with the US one, there is no language selection screen so it;s just plain english, no option for jap, spanish, french etc. I would believe that the Jap version would be jap in language.

I just did it on my US one, set it to Japanese and fired up my US Mario 64. Still in English

With multi region, watch Nintendo being as completely un-import friendly as possible. Sonic Team though should keep up their 5-language support thing they've been doing since SA2, fingers crossed. Even if they do just use an online translator for French, Italian and Spanish.

Does Feel The Magic have a language option?

i'm playing the japanese version of mario 64 with my (jpn) DS set to english.
....the game is all still in japanese.


(maybe theres an option, i havent checked thoroughly, but i doubt it)

I've had a good look around and there definitely isn't an English option.
