O.TO.GI problem on my modded xbox (?)

I've got lots of pal and usa Xbox games and all work fine on my Modded Xbox (X-Ecuter 2 Lite with ExoX dash)

A couple require the pal/ntsc switchdisc program but work fine once that is switched.

However today I got O.TO.GI. Its my first JPN game and refuses to work. The screen just fades to black, then nothing.

    Any ideas?

It could be a dodgy disk as I have the exact same setup and it works fine for me. Or you may need to update the BIOS on your mod-chip as I have the latest BIOS on mine.

I'm pretty sure the bios is the latest (how can I check though?)

And I bought it of a fellow forumite who's been using it without a problem on their modded xbox (theirs has no dash though). So I don't think the disc is the problem.

The weird thing is my xbox is JPN and with switch off it still doesn't work

I had this exact same problem with otogi, and it turned out to be the version of Evox I was running. If you are running an old version, you should update it. Fixed it for me.

I'm running ver 1.8.3682 btw, which isn't the latest, but Otogi deffo works with it.

Try and disable the IGR (in-game-reset) in Evox.ini file, or evox settings menu.

No joy unfortunately Looks like its simply to do with EvoX. I need the latest one.
