MSN Messenger 7 beta

Apparently not. Much hilarity did ensue when I suddenly scrawled "stu" in a conversation last night. It just appears as an inline image in the msn text, as though you'd used the IMG tag here.

Dunno if it's any different from v7 to another 7.

Still pissed off about that offline mode thing, I'm sure Yahoo messenger did that. And no, Trillian (pro) doesn't either.

try installing some graphics tablet drivers, that may sort it out, i've got some installed but have no tablet plugged in

i have just installed tablet drivers ... and it dont work.. i even have teh tablet plugged in.. M$ pos

To get the handwriting thing to work you have to install M$ Journal Viewer. God knows why.

Is this installed by default, normally? I can't say I've ever put it on, nor indeed was aware I even had it.
