Gamestation tended to in the past, but I don't know anymore havent bothered to trade at either one for ages, "How much for this Game?"... "We will give you ?5 cash or ?6 trade"... "I paid ?25 for it brand new last week...grrrr..."

I don't know if you have a Blockbuster near you but there usually give a decent price.

GAME's prices have got lower that they give yet they charge more for the product. You're now looking at just under a 1/3 than what they cost new, plus all the prices are centralised on the till system so there is no leeway.

The only saving grace is that if they're really old then they have an offer where you can trade in 2 games and get a DVD for 99p. The DVD's are new stuff like Spiderman, iRobot, Dawn of the Dead etc.

Other than that horde them until the trade in 5 old games for a new one starts up again.

If you have one nearby CEX will usually give a very good trade in price for your games. Actually wanting to buy anything they have in stock though is another matter.

Cex's prices are a joke...just check the website for proof of that. They give ridiculously low prices and quadruple it to get the selling price

Gamestation are my first choice for trade-in. I usually get a good price on games and they don't take the price with their mark-ups. Don't bother selling DVDs there though, their trade-in prices are a disgrace

That's not always true RLench. CeX online bought MKD for ?26.25 and PES4 for ?22.50 from me, more than I was expecting for either. But generally Gamestation give you the best deals.

A late and hastily scrawled Photoshop. Oh well.

myself and the wife went into Edinburgh and the local gamestation there had a neo boxed AES in the window without games for ?350

now this console was fecked, it had a huge burn mark downt he front and looked awful, what made me laugh was the money they offer for a mint AES system, in a trade in you get ?90 and if you want cash you get ?70

500% mark up - that is a huge amount
