    GC vga or component

looking for a pro-scan option for my us GC - is vga or component a better option?

plus looking for a digital audio out for the gc - is this at all possible?

    cheers

Theres no point in a digital audio out for GC - it doesnt support any digital sound modes, only Pro Logic 2, which can be taken advantage of simply by a set of phono leads.

Component would be better over all I think, since I believe VGA Cords for GC only work with Progressive Scan games. Component Video would also let you play Interlaced stuff.

VGA will let you play interlaced games too, as long as your display supports it.
But I have both and prefer component as I get more picture options on my display in component than I do with VGA.

VGA will looks lightly better though, right?
I believe Component compresses the color information (4:2:2 or something like that).

even transcoding one signal to the other there should be absolutely no visable difference, it is a very easy conversion.
