    Gmail confusion

Again today I almost missed an email, it was only by chance that I expanded a conversation made up of a dozen or so emails from various people that I noticed it. Anyone else finding GMail tricky to monitor, particularly when you have long emails? Im trying to isolate it, but it seems that when I get replies within existing conversations they do not always appear at the top of my email list as a new email, or in my Gmail tab as a number. Anyone else missing emails with Gmail?

Aye, it's a pain. I wish I could just have a list of emails I've received, instead of having this gay conversation lark.

I can't see how you can miss emails though, since it highlights unread ones o_O

Thats the thing, on several occasions now it hasnt. I expand a conversation and see emails that Ive not even read or expanded to open.

I've not had that problem here tbh. You sure you haven't opened them and then forgot?

I had the same problem yesterday, if someone replys to the same message twice before you read the first it will stack them up rather than add it as a new message.

That 'conversation' can GTF tbh, I'm not keen on it. Still, Gmail is still far better designed than MSN Hotmail, which looks like a drunk child drew it. In bed. With boxing gloves on.

It's a beta, heh. Voice your comments through the appropriate channel.
