    Firefox: CuteMenus for Version 1.0

This isn't official, in fact I just edited it to work with FF1.0 (easily done), but for anyone wanting a quick fix solution, here goes.

CuteMenus still hasn't been updated to work with the latest version of FireFox and personally I started to miss it, so if you click this link (rather than the one on Mozilla Update) you'll get the nice icons beside your menus once again:

    http://lyris.landofwhimsy.com/files/...r-firefox1.xpi

You might need to Save this to Disk (I'd recommend to the root of your C: drive) and then point Firefox to it to install it from your hard drive rather than the web server for it to work.

(I know a few people that haven't upgraded to the latest version of FF yet because of this, hence me posting.)

I don't remember seeing those wee pics before. Looks better than the staid menu as it is though. Kudos.

Tbh I'm holding back upgrading to 1.0 Final cause it don't support the extension for closing tabs on double click , that menu system is tempting me though ^_^

You can get Cutemenus on all the other versions, just go to http://update.mozilla.org

What's the extension you want to get running on 1.0 called, Omega? I'll try and see if I can get it to work.

Not sure, I can't check it at the mo not at my P.C, I think it's just called doubleclick iirc. It's not on the extension page anymore though
I'm suprised it's non 1.0 final compatible though, having to close tabs by right clicking everytime gets a bit annoying when your used to doubleclicking.

Yeah, here it is for v1.0:

"Close Tab on Double Click", thanks for telling me that existed... I'd wanted something like it for awhile.

tbh, the middle-click to close tab seems to be pretty good for me.
What I want is a proper undo close tab extension.
There was one in Tab Browser Extensions, but there's no chance that I'm installing that again.
