    The DS screen wobble?

    Hi all

Maybe i am being paranoid here and being too geeky but moneys not been great and I actully got my parents and brothers to chip in and get me a DS for xmas.

Now I found this DS hidden and gave it a good ole whicky whacky wooey.

But me being the mega paranoid one over something so expensive and fragile I was checking every crack and crannie and noticed the top screen can wobble just slightly left and right on the hindge.

Not a wobble but slide very ery slightly, nots even even like a slide it kinda nobs back and forth if done with the hand.

Maybe I just being too picky but should I be more carefuly incase the top screen comes or loose and flaps all over the place?

How is the top screen connected via wires?

    Cheers

What are you doing with your Christmas present early?

But seriously, it doesn't sound like there's anything wrong there at all. Just about everything with a hinge has some lateral give and take... just don't pick at it or it'll get infected.

My top screen shifts left to right very slightly too, mate.

Dont worry about it, they're obviously all tested to be abused by all sorts of people within limits.

      Chill

I can confirm that the lid doesn't feel as secure as the GBA SPs... it's actualy a little disappointing but since everyone's in the same boat you have nothing to worry about.

mine would wobble if i *had* a DS, but anyway, you lucky git! i miss the days when i'd have a present that i couldn't open until a certain day...

oh well, you get to the stage where you're buying other people presents i guess...

If there wasn't any play in the hinge it wouldn't open and close properly.

I've bought myself a DS with feel the magic and mario 64, which I am not allowing myself to open until Xmas, whilst I've bought everyone else quite cheap presents, is this wrong?
