which switch?

I imagine you've heard this a thousand times, but which switches on the modchip panel do I need to have on to play imports, I've got kotor 2 here and it won't start. Chip is xecuter 2.3b (I think)

Surely it's just "CHIP ON" that you need enabled? If you have a modded OS go and change the Xbox region to US if you can(if the previous suggestion doesn't work).

I've had this chipped since August and been playing U.S. Fable for months (although I think that Fable is region free) I tried the on switch but nothing happens, I tried fiddleing the protect/unprotect, bank1/bank2 switch and it still says invalid game region!

My old modded one i never touched the 2 switches on the right and middle. It was just the left one which activated a ****in' huge led,meaning chip on. Assuming you have no led try the left one only.

Nope, no matter what fiddleing I do, I'm still getting the Invalid Region message.

The protect/unprotect switch will only change wheter or not you can flash the mod chip. The bank1/bank2 switch changes which bios is loaded off the mod chip, but Bank 1 & 2 are normally the same.

If the modchip is turned on and you still can't play the game it could be a problem with the chip.

I had a problem with a 2.3 before it just needed to be pushed down a bit in the pin header, and its been fine since

I had that problem before but it frag'ed on me. everything's in place, I think. (empthasis on "think")
