MPEG4 convertors - Macintosh

I am after an MPEG4 convertor (not for PSP, honest!) for Mac OSX. Anyone know of one available?

I know the whole Google is your best friend thing, but the only ones I have found are ones you gotta buy, or they simply don't work.

You could check out ffmpegX available here , it will covert mpeg4 to avi, mov or whatever. I found it hard to get it to do what I wanted (coverting files from a mustek mini dv thing) but eventually managed with a bit of experimenting. The forum from that site is a big help if you have any trouble. I`m pretty sure I tried QT pro and couldn`t get it to work, but that might just be me spazzing it up.
