Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! I just had a check on google, and my pc has 4 memory slots! yay! ... So, does this mean I'll be able to keep the 2x256mb, and add 2x512mb drr2!?!? So, I'll have 1536mb ram!?!?! Ill be made up if that works.

OOps, I see it was x800se not x300. In that case it should run OK.
As for the ram thing, not totally sure off hand. Email you're mobo manufacturer, or dell.

Just have a search through the forums using the search box, if not post a thread, just make sure to post all you're specs as they tend to get a little bit snappy if you dont

Hah, okay thanks for the links montaver, I'll go and have a search now. Hah yeah It's comming with an X800se and a P4 3ghz, if I can upgrade the ram then it'l be pretty good then. I wasn't upgrading for doom 3, it's just because we really need a new PC so it's a christmas present, the one I'm using now is barely usable, it's five years old! Hah, but while I'm upgrading I might as well play Half Life 2 and Doom 3. The reason I didn't upgrade to the 1gig ram when I got it from dell was that they wanted ?130 more for an extra 512mb ram, and I didn't really have the money to add to it when I ordered. I'll be glad I never got it from dell though if i'll be able to have 1536mb ram.

Just had a search of them sites, sadly I didn't find any info, thanks though. I've registered for them all so I can post, but they've yet to send me my activation email for my account!
