    As I see it all that's needed is a figure of 8 style lead right? To plug into the transformer?

    Mains -> transformer -> PSP

    Very similar to the external PSU for the PStwo? I myself was wondering because mine should arrive in a few days.

      I have a PSP and just changed the figure 8 lead. The power pack is 100 - 240V switching and there are no problems at all.

          Hi Fastware,
          thanks for the reply,I have plenty of figure of 8 console leads here,only concern I have is that they all seem to have different valued/sized fuses in them.Some have 3 amp fuses others 8 or 13 amps ones.Would the 3 amp lead be the best and safest for the job?

            I'm planning on just sticking a travel adapter on the end. Just thought I'd double check this works?

              Hi mate,
              I'd play it safe and avoid using a travel adaptor.I think the 2 prone Jap plug that comes with the PSP wouldn't be properly earthed if used with one of these adaptors.All travel adaptors will get the PSP up and running but require that the foreign plug be of the 3 pin variety to properly earth everything even thoe they will power up appliances with 2 prone leads.Don't ask me why this is technically,I learnt this last night after recieving my plug and reading it's instructions.
              I'am currently using my PSX figure of 8(5 amp)lead and it works fine.
