What kind of shipping does this tracking number indicate?

I have recieved an apparent EMS tracking number from the guy I bought a PSP from on ebay.

It is of the form EIXXXXXXXXXJP

I thought EMS was EE?

I tried entering it into the japanpost EMS tracker but got nothing. So is this EMS, something else, or am I getting fleeced?

Don't worry, it is EMS.

I had a PSP shipped from Tokyo on Saturday and the tracking number started EI. When was the package sent out? It may take a few hours for the tracking number to become "live"

Btw, my PSP is out for delivery now so i should recieve today.

I also had a PSP sent out from a guy off ebay on saturday with a EMS tracking code, everytime i go track mine it states left tokyo airport and thats been like that since the 20th!

Does the tracking code change once in the uk?

Either of you two buy yours off 1ninja*com?

I bought mine from agent-tokyo.

My PSP was sent out from Tokyo Airport on the 19th at 11:10. The next entry on the tracking page didn't appear until the 21st at 20:54 when it was at the International Hub - Arrived in destination country.

tyke dont worry about that. i thought it had been stolen or stopped by customes but it was just that the tracking information was slow at updating. my package arrived although according to the trackin info at the time it had not arrived in the UK.

Right, thats what I used. I was told it was send on Sunday night, but then I'm not sure if he was using stock replies as his english didn't seem very good.

Maybe email the seller to confirm the tracking number?

All i know is my tracking number was not recognised for a couple of hours once i recieved the confirmation email from the seller that the PSP had been shipped.
