Right I have XP, 3 users and a 30gb hard drive, the HD seems to be filling up really quickly yet I've not much installed except XP and a few other things, try to burn as much to CD as poss.
Biggest space taker is the 3 profiles in Documents & Settings (sizes like 8.8gb, 2.2gb & 1.9gb) now noob like question; is the space allocated to the three users the programs etc that have been installed when signed on as them (seems logical - even though those figures are extremely high). When I go into the profile, there is the normal favorites, desktop, cookies etc folders but when I total up these 6 or 8 folders you only total about 70mb.
Have run disk clean up and defrag in last few weeks and all OK.
Where is all my space going ? it's a laptop otherwise I would just go out and buy a massive HD, if the above is not clear please say.
