PSP squeaky D-Pad is there a cure?

i was thinking of spraying some WD40 will that cock the machine up?

if so anyone know how to cure it?

I've heard it dissapears after a bit of use. How long have you had your PSP? And is it really that annoying? I havent got my PSP yet, so I've only heard these squeak stories on the web, and am yet to hear it for myself!

ive had it for a few days now - at first it didnt squeak now it sqeaks with avengeance!! its not that bad... mind, when you get engrossed in a race in RR you simply forget!
