Chronicles of Riddick PC question

Has anyone playes this through to completion? If so please let me know, as I think I have come across a bug in it that makes progress impossible.

Its not one of those annoying ones where you accidentally kill someone who is integral to the plot, forcing you to restart the level?

Yeah, I came across that on the Xbox version a few times... I don't remember if it restarted or if I had to load up a checkpoint though.

Nope, Im near the end where Ive planted the bomb to release the xenomorphs. Ive come to a part whereby I go into an elevator, and go through a vent to reach the top of the elevator. There is an elevator control panel there which I have to activate, and apparently this is meant to move the elevator down, but it doesnt as nothing happens. After that, the vent I came through is no longer accessible either. So I end up trapped above the elevator with nowhere to go and nothing I can do.

Worked out how to do this, clearly it must be a bug. If I operate the elevator control panel whilst activating riddicks night vision, nothing happens and I get stuck. When I dont use night vision, the control panel activates the elevator and it moves.
