should be in the PC thread mate.

If ebuyer sell it, they have customer reviews for each product.

Sorry to bang this drum again, but the utter Pioneer fanboy in me suggests you get the 108 for a few quid more.

Make sure you get Ritek discs, too ;p

Sorry, typical old me not reading

Well after looking into it further, the postage is around ?5, which to me is a rip off!

Do OEM version actually come with anything? Like the screws, and leads for inside?

Nope, that's all retail guff. My OEM 105 just came with the drive in bubble wrap.

I've got one of those Philips drives, it's wicked. I think it's the same model, but I'm not 100% sure, I'll check when I get home. I've not bothered with the drivers for the drive, they're not necessary. To install it just replace a current drive - easy

The Pioneer 108 is apparently very good, however, that price for that Philips is pretty awesome, even with ?5 delivery.

Pioneer fanboy here as well. ;P

I've got the 108, 107 previously, and never had a single problem with either drive. Not one coaster. Like Stu using Ritek discs.

                  I've got a Pioneer 107 too and it's a great drive!

For some unknown reason though I have to burn my discs as slow as possible (DVDs that is) else my old Pioneer 120s (slot load DVD ROM) has trouble reading them

If I burn at the faster speeds my discs won't work in the 120s but they will still be fine in the 107.

Slight edit - just realised that technically my Pioneer drive is the A07 model - I got a retail box, from what I remember though it is the 107 with a different face plate and name!
