Use the EMS tracking number the sender gave you

Japan Post Official Website. You can see our services, news, and corporate information.

Actually, thinking about it, i suppose it could be delivered tomorrow. If it was in Heathrow at midday, then I'm guessing its in Bristol by now, making a tomorrow delivery more than possible. Fingers crossed.

At the end of the day though, if this EMS tracking wasn't so ****, we would'nt be guessing like we are now.

EDIT - whats the difference between the international hub and the national hub? Could the national hub be my local depot, or will this be somewhere in London?

EDIT EDIT - It arrived at my local Bristol depot 15 minutes ago. Tomorrow delivery? I think so! Get the **** in.

Nice one Dave! I hope yours does turn up tomorrow. Mine was posted from Japan on the 29th and reached the international hub on the 30th at 22.30. I'm guessing there's no chance of delivery tomorrow for me, but Heathrow is not too far from where I live so I'm still hoping for the best. But from previous experience with Parcel Farce I'm realistically looking at the middle to the end of next week

Anyway let us know if yours turns up tomorrow

I found this thread from google. Looks like I'm not alone in this EMS tracking crises. My PSP was mailed from Japan on the 22nd, had a flight date of the 23rd, and after that, I've heard absolutely nothing (tracking has not updated, looks like it's actually still in Japan). That's over a week ago. Reading this thread gives me a little hope...

edit: oops. I manged to find a UK forum. I'm from Canada, our customs is pretty darn slow, so it's understandable that it's taking this long (but it would be nice to get a little bit of tracking info..)

My tracking number is EE 035661287 PH which means it comes from the Philippeans but i'm getting no joy with the royal mail.

              Any tips guys.

Thats weird man, I cant get that tracking number to work either. Is that definately the right number? I guess you just copy'n'pasted it, so its probably not an error on your side.
I'd email the seller and get him to confirm that was the right tracking nuumber.

That is weird......mine was posted out on Tuesday and I've tracked it all the way - should be on its way to me today.

Have you tried the Parcel Force website for the second half of the journey...ie once its out of Japan/wherever

EDIT just tried Cyberheater's on the Parcelforce site...no joy...

www.parcelforce.com and tick 'incoming international parcel'

                      Did you get yours dave?

Anyway, Bleurgh! Mine has not come, the tracking has still not even been updated. Is it even in the country? I don't know.

I'm going to flip out and kill some wildlife.

Gotta ask: Did you - had to - pay customs?

I've just been playing lumines and ridge for the last 2 hours, and all I can say people is, look forward to your PSP's arriving, as you will absolutely love it.

I'll probably post some in depth impressions later to add to the thread in first play, but first things first - dont worry about having any dead pixels. I cant see any whatsoever on my unit, but tbh there probably are a few. The pixels are so small, and the screen so shiny, that even if you do have some it shouldnt bother you hugely.

No customs for me, as the seller marked the package as a $110 radio!!! Get the **** in. The seller had even wrapped the value pack box in christmas wrapping paper. Merry christmas to you too sir!
I was asleep when they tried to deliver the package, so they gave it to next door (and judging by the proof of delivery's electronic signature it was their young lad +^_^+ ).
So no customs, no visible dust or dead pixels and hours of fun ahead. Good day I'd say.

Btw regarding tracking, forget the EMS japan website. Its worthless. Just go by parcel forces site. It is updated very quickly, its just a shame it takes a while for the various delivery stages to be completed.

I've been waiting on Lumines since the 24th. Apparently, from what I'm hearing here in Ireland, many of the countries an EMS package would normally travel through are under staffed this time of year and yet have double the mail to deal with so delays are normal.

                              Still...wish I was playing Lumines...

I've just received mine courtesy of Parcelforce, with no customs (I asked the bloke to mark it down)

?280 inc Ridge Racers and Metal Gear Acid and del.!

I've gotta say- its the best thing!! Its everything you ever wanted in a handheld....

RR is superb....but Metal Gear is a bit tricky..mostly 'cos I don't understand Japanese!

But the whole EMS situation was ok....Parcelforce, no hassles.

Shipped on the 28th arrived today!! (yes I'm smug!)

EDIT: when they work, Parcelforce ain't bad...just viewed my updated status...proof of delivery even shows my electronic signature!!
