    Some PSP questions...

Where's the cheapest place online for a 1gb Memory Stick Pro Duo?

I'm sure I read someone saying somewhere that they got it for ?85?

Also does it really matter if the 1gb Memory Stick Pro Duo is high speed or not? I guess it's all to do with access time but if I don't opt for a high speed one will I really notice a difference or will it put more strain on the PSP battery?

Cheapest place I've seen for a 1gb Memory Stick Pro Duo is here...

Is this a high speed 1gb Memory Stick Pro Duo?

    Last question now...

What's the best way in protecting the Sony PSP screen and the PSP itself?
I've got a Hori Portable Liquid Crystal Filter ready like this one
Online shopping for Import Video Games, Digital Codes, iTunes Cards, Mobage & PSN Cards, Movies, Music, Electronics, Computers, Software, Books, Apparel, Personal Care, Toys & more.

but I'm seeing a lack of durable hard case protectors.

It's a shame they don't do a hard case similar to the one I have for my Nintendo DS like this one...

Anyway, thanks to all replies in advance!

The 1gb price is correct, the cards are just hitting the market now and will be available from more places soon.

Yes its a high speed, look at the first feature

I spoke to these guys, they dont expect stock for another 4-6 weeks, they're taking paid pre-orders and will be shipping as they "trickle"* through.

Most places told me the same, 4-6 weeks.

I've bought a 512mb card and am going to wait until the frenzy over 1gb cards has died down and they're more freely available, and cheaper.

For those of you who can't wait for a 1GB Pro Duo memory stick:

...but if you cared about price, you wouldn't have a PSP in the first place...

I hope you don't mind me adding a question here.

When you connect wirelessly to the internet with the PSP what can you do on it?

I think you can update the software on the PSP, but I'm not sure what else.

So far..... update the firmware ooooh ahhhhhh

I'm hoping if they bring out the keyboard shown at E3 that we may get e-mail and web surfing and more.

There has been talk of extra downloadable content for games. I honestly don't know if that's a good or bad thing as more often than not it seems that 'extra' content is simply held back or stuff that should have been in a game if they weren't rushing it out for christmas. I would think (though I'm not sure) that the game would have to be expecting it in advance in order to look for it - does that sound right? So we're unlikely to get any Ridge Racers extras. I think there was an interview with the makers of Wipeout Pure that mentioned the idea of downloadable tracks.

There was also talk of being able to remix music on the web and then have it downloaded to the PSP and played as BGM in the game.

Yup, that's correct about the downloadable content.

Namco say Ridge Racers will definately not have any, that Wipeout Pure interview said something about weekly(!) downloadable content being made available!
