Magic Box for X-Box for ps2/dc/sat pads - any good??

considering this as i'm really getting into online 3rd strike and my saturn astro stick just isn't up to it so i've been happily playing on the controller S but wanna use my saturn pad instead...

i was gonna do some soldering and convert a saturn pad to xbox but i can't be bothered tbh

so, anyone have a magic box? if so, is it any good? i'm after a quick response time obviously, and if it has any lag then i'll probably just try my luck with the soldering route (giving zero lag)

replies from sf gurus would be most appreciated, but all replies will be greatly appreciated.

btw, i'm not in the least bit fussed about this, but does it work with the live headset?

I use a Magic Box with a Saurian converted DC stick(to PS2) so i now get six buttons as when it was just a DC one it only maps 4.
Zero lag other than on the game itself but no headset, but then the majority of people ive fought dont seem to either.

I use a Saturn pad with a Magic Box and the experience is perfect. There is 0 lag and it is just such a better controller for it. The only minus is the lack of voice comms but thats a small price to pay imo.

It work fine for PS2 pad / Soul calibur 2 stick.

thanks for all the input peeps

like i said, voice comms is not an issue with me anyway on sf - i'm the silent killer!

bought one now, just gotta wait for the postie
