    Is this Plasma any good?

Okay, so it's from Tiny. Is the Samsung screen any good, is it true they're used in Sony plasmas?
Has anybody seen any reviews of this particular model? Am I right in thinking I could hook up my modded Xbox with a hi def kit without needing any extra kit - boards etc?

Ive only seen it once, it looked on par with the techwood 42" at currys (ie not that good) but whether it was down to the feed it was getting im not sure, Im saving a little extra to get the panny 42" (for 200 more than the tiny model u get panasonic 42" plasma / component board / stand or wall bracket and ) and i already have a rs rgb to vga convertor so i can do all the scarts through the vga port that comes on the plasma.

The specs certainly seem ok with good contrast but the quality of the actual screen i suspect may not be that great, just go and demo one.
If i were replacing my current plasma i would go for a Panasonic Viera, at 2k for a 37inch panel or 2.5k for the 42inch model it's fantastic value.
Thats high street prices so online you should be able to get both significantly less, i would also urge you to buy your panel from John Lewis. They will price match any price you get as long as they stock it and give you a "free" five year warranty to boot, something not to be scoffed at.

That Panny PWD6 or whatever everyone keeps harping on about is ?1500 notes inc somewhere (forget where). Seems sound value for money that, not a huge distance away from being mass marketable.
