    PAL DC ain't outputting RGB?

K, well, i've got a UK Dreamcast and some RGB scart cable i picked up a while ago (dunno what brand, but i know it's not official). The picture the DC was outputting seemed to be pretty decent, so i thought the cable was working just fine at the time.
Anyway, i got my hands on a US GC and a modified component cable (to RGB scart), and when i use this, my TV flicks into some sorta RGB mode (says RGB in the top right), which my DC never did! So now i'm quite interested to know if it's possible to use this RGB mode with my DC, since the picture the GC output was so damn pretty. Any ideas, solutions, reasons? Please post.

Btw, the TV is some 20" Panasonic Quintrix jobby, quite standard, but runs all NTSC modes and what not.

You've probably been sent a cheapo scart cable that does not carry the RGB signal only a composite signal. I purchased 3 so say "DC RGB CABLES" from ebay before I finaly got a good one.

Safest bet is to pick up an official Sega cable not cheap third party tat.
